i recently told myself.
i'll work hard and study,
for cupid's bow has given me faith to better myself.

yeah right.
the power of love, right in my hands,
has given me a 39/80 for my chinese.

i can't believe it, am i unlucky to fail or lucky to have neared the passing score?
no more singlish, now, perfect spoken chinese and english if i could.

i kind of am fond of him, i think he knows it.
i know he doesn't give a damn, he couldn't care less.

he's chubby, dumb looking and slow, like a boar.
i wonder what i saw in him?

looks can be deceiving. behind that dumb-looking figure,
he's a genius inside. he tops the whole level!

i don't care whether he likes me or not.
i'm just *borrowing* him to better my grades.
i'm not ready for another relationship yet,
at most i'll just say, "sorry you're not the jiawei i was searching for",
or "sorry, i'm not the only lijing around in this sec4 level."

he's just like a stepping stone for me.
